About the Medeina quarter
There are 50 land plots in the quarter perfect for building individual houses or duplexes. The Medeina quarter has all the utilities: city water supply and sewerage, gas, electricity, and cables for telephone, internet and TV. Streets are well lit, with sidewalks. The allotments for private houses vary from 11 to 19 ares. It may be possible to purchase half-allotments and to build duplexes on them. (Two utility connection points have been provided on each allotment with this possibility in mind.) The quarter will be fenced, with a boom gate and guardhouse at the access gate. Allotment prices start at 19,000 LTL per are.

Location of Medeina quarter
The new quarter is located 2 km from the Kaunas city limits, between the settlements of Akademija and Ringaudai. It is a strategically convenient location – only 10 minutes’ drive from the centre of Kaunas. Using the Western ring road (A5, E67) you can reach any part of the city avoiding traffic jams. There is convenient access by public transport. Only a few hundred metres away from the Medeina quarter there is a primary school, the Ugnė Karvelis high school, a kindergarten, the Lithuanian University of Agriculture, a post office, a recreation centre, libraries, a health care centre, pharmacies, shops and the Ringaudai church. This year, two supermarkets are planned for construction in Akademija.
