Kulautuva is a small resort settlement with a population of about 1,270 habitants, situated 11 km west of Kaunas, in the direction of Jurbarkas. Kulautuva has a kindergarten, a school, 3 shops, a health centre, a Post Office, a library, a recreation centre and a fire station.
It‘s a perferct place to live for those who appreciate quality surroundings, tranquillity, an eco-friendly environment and active leisure. In 2006, a 3 km pedestrian path was built in the nearby pine forest, which is safe and extensively used. The village is also paying special attention to the development of a bicycle tourism infrastructure.
